The Scarpa Vapour V 2.0 is a comfortable but high-performance all-round rock climbing shoe. If you're after one shoe for all types of climbing, it's the Scarapa Vapour V 2.0; keeping the original Vibram XS Edge rubber in the sole and the same last, it provides the same great fit and out-the-box comfort but with an improved heel cup and increased rubber coverage in the toe for better hooking. The Vapour V 2.0 also features a slightly downturned fit and a Bi-tension rand, which rather than pushing the toes forwards from the back of the shoe, pulls backwards towards the heel, providing the same amount of precision but without the toe-pain. This creates a great edging shoe that will out-perform on any steep face and is a great choice for an intermediate climber wanting to make the transition to a more aggressive climbing shoe.
